Food Preparation Specializations:
Stocks, soups and sauces, Eggs and dairy, Cold kitchen (salads, appetizers, sandwiches), Meat, Poultry, Pasta, Fish, Seafood
Prepare and cook full course meals, Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods, Plan menus, Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions, Estimate food requirements and costs, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Order supplies and equipment, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Clean kitchen and work areas, Organize and manage buffets and banquets
2 Food Service Supervisor Positions Available
40-48 hrs per week $12.05 per hour
High school graduate equivalency and/or 2 years experience necessary.
Co-ordinate activities of workers who prepare, portion and serve food. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Ensure food service quality and control.
